Get on at Work/Skills for Life

Regardless of whether or not you have a qualification, you may feel you need to brush up your English and/or maths skills. The Council's Get on at Work/Skills for Life project focuses on helping employees improve their Literacy and Numeracy skills to Level 2 (GCSE A*-C level) with the opportunity of gaining a national qualification.

It is for staff aged 25 years and above and also for those who have previously been unsuccessful in their job application to the Council or who are applying for the first time.

We can offer FREE, flexible learning delivered through a menu of learning opportunities, in most cases tailor-made to meet individual needs.
