The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has the commitment, passion and drive to help an enthusiastic team deliver a high quality service.
You will provide outstanding customer care, within a high profile and vital Council service that supports to the day to day activities of all residents, business and the thousands of daily visitors to our area.
You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.
More importantly, as an Ambassador of the Council, will play a key role in providing information and advice to the general public to help ensure that Bath & North East Somerset continues to be the Place to live, work and Visit.
The role is for 40 hours per week and operates a daily shift rota between the hours of 6am to 10pm, including weekend, operating from an office in Central Bath.

About You
You will like dealing with people face to face and be able to provide accurate, helpful information at all times, even in difficult situations.
You will have an eye for detail and be able to work effectively as part of a team, and show respect for others by treating everyone equally.
You are friendly, polite and willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers.
You should be physically fit and be able to walk as much as 10 miles per day whilst carrying approximately 8lb/4kg of equipment and be prepared to work in all weathers.
A full UK driving licence for manual vehicles is essential.
