Casual Catering Assistant
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to work on a casual basis with us in our dementia care home in Bath. Experience in working in a busy kitchen environment is preferred, you will be assisting the cook to prepare and serve home cooked food to our 46 residents. You will need to have an understanding of relevant food safely legislation. Good communication skills and the ability to relate to older adults in essential. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also a requirement
Nutrition is an important element of the care we provide, you will be actively involved in meeting the nutritional needs of the residents and ensure that a high quality dining experience is received by everyone. You will accommodate and respect the individual needs of residents in line with both their care plans and personal preferences.
Relevant qualification IE - Diploma, apprenticeship in catering and hospitality is desirable, however if you do not hold this we will provide relevant training to further develop your skills.
