Are you a well-organised, self-reliant and motivated sales person, keen to promote the hire of Bath's finest historic buildings and parks to public, private and corporate clients?
Baths Historic Venues, a division of the Council’s Heritage Services Department, are looking for a personable, outward going experienced sales executive with a proven record in sourcing and generating new business opportunities.
Reporting to the Hospitality and Events Manager, you will be responsible for proactive sales initiatives as well as managing incoming sales enquiries for the Pump Room, Roman Baths, Guildhall, Victoria Art Gallery and Bath’s historic Parks. The role is largely computer and telephone based with regular client meetings as well as occasional business to business exhibitions or promotional events. There will also be occasional evening/ weekend work covering as Function Manager or at promotional events.
As well as excellent customer service and a clear telephone manner, the successful candidate will have a pro-active approach, demonstrate initiative and enjoy working in a busy environment where frequent interruptions are the norm. Attention to detail is vital for this demanding post which will require excellent computer skills and the ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.
